Aquent is seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our client’s dynamic team, playing a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless flow of products to customers worldwide. This is an exciting opportunity to drive operational excellence, optimize inventory, and contribute directly to the strategic evolution of their supply chain capabilities. Your expertise will be crucial in fostering strong internal and external partnerships, implementing innovative solutions, and elevating service delivery across various regions.

As a key contributor, you will be at the forefront of operational excellence, focusing on in-season planning and delivery activities. You will directly influence the smooth flow of inventory, ensuring robust availability and orderbook health through collaborative efforts. This role is essential for driving efficiency in shipping and inventory management, making a tangible difference in how products reach consumers.

This is a full-time salaried position, contracted via Aquent on behalf of our client, under an initial 6 months fixed term contract (option to extend). 

PLEASE NOTE: Due to the contracting nature of this role, only candidates with the unrestricted right to work in The Netherlands will be considered. 

Responsibilities:

  • Drive operational excellence through meticulous in-season planning and delivery.
  • Support order management processes to ensure efficient inventory flow and strong availability.
  • Elevate visibility and drive critical actions related to planning and delivery KPIs.
  • Lead and influence cross-functional teams, including account-facing, pre-season, and order management teams, to achieve aligned operational execution.
  • Contribute to optimizing inventory flow, enhancing orderbook health, managing working capital, and improving logistic efficiency.
  • Champion the vision and approach of new operational frameworks with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying and facilitating enhancements to tools, processes, and end-to-end collaboration.
  • Utilize end-to-end operations, commercial, and account-facing experience to ensure effective KPI focus and business delivery.
  • Contribute to achieving key operational KPIs related to service, convenience, sustainability, and profitability.

What you bring:

  • Min. 4 years proven work experience in a supply chain or logistics function, coupled with a passion for operations (preferrably within retail or consumer goods sector).
  • Strong analytical skills that support a results-driven approach to achieving operational excellence.
  • Proven track record in leading and delivering process improvements.
  • Ability to understand and effectively communicate complex information specific to the position.
  • Capability to support the achievement of goals independently while actively contributing to team performance.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, including initiating analysis and investigation to resolve diverse yet related issues.
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver best-in-class service.
